The Level 2 training is designed to expand upon the foundational knowledge gained in Level 1, strengthening the TIIP (Therapeutic Islamic Integrative Psychology) approach to psychotherapy.

This program will immerse participants in the Islamic philosophical underpinnings of TIIP while revisiting its core principles for application in diverse therapeutic situations and psychological challenges. The curriculum aims to enhance integrative skills and techniques, equipping students with practical tools to address psychological disorders through an Islamic lens. Advanced interventions that specifically address aspects of the TIIP framework of the human psyche will be emphasized.

Participants will engage in a variety of interactive exercises and collaborative activities, including:

• Analyzing case vignettes to conceptualize complex situations using the TIIP framework
• Presenting student cases with a certified TIIP practitioner
• Group discussions on Islamic ethical considerations in clinical practice

All participants are expected to acquire The Islamic Workbook for Religious OCD: A Guide for Overcoming Intrusive Thoughts and Compulsions prior to the training. Details regarding specific chapters to be read will be communicated via email.
