The My Tanjong Pagar Heritage Tour offers an insightful exploration of Tanjong Pagar, a neighborhood rich in history and modernity. Participants will journey through the area, discovering historical landmarks such as the Jinrikisha Station and former Traffic Police Command. The name Tanjong Pagar, which means 'cape of stakes' in Malay, reflects its origins as a fishing village, chronicled in Sejarah Melayu, and highlights its significance in Singapore's development as a global port city. The tour will feature visits to notable sites, including the Singapore Conference Hall and the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre.
This tour provides unique access to the beautiful MAS Gallery on Saturdays and Keramat Habib Noh on both days.
