The Women and Museums program offers guided tours aimed at reinterpreting collections to highlight women's roles as active participants in history and art history. This tour will explore women's rights and obligations in ancient Rome. It will address questions such as the extent of women's influence and the structure of families during that period. The differences between married, divorced, widowed, or enslaved women will be discussed, along with topics like female reproduction and women's work.
