Established in 2021 in Coyoacán, Mexico City, Ensamble Folklórico CDMX is directed by choreographer Roberto Garduño Hernández, who possesses over 18 years of expertise in the production of Mexican folkloric performances. He has educated students at various educational levels in Mexico and has provided guidance to folklore groups across Mexico, the United States, and Europe.
With a strong dedication to enhancing and professionalizing Mexican folklore, Ensamble Folklórico CDMX has graced some of the most esteemed stages in the country, such as Teatro de la Danza, Sala Miguel Covarrubias, Teatro de la Ciudad, Pepsi Center, Foro BlackBerry, and the World Trade Center CDMX. The ensemble has participated in both national and international tours and festivals.
Since 2022, the group has introduced the vibrancy of Mexican folklore to audiences in Saudi Arabia's capital as well as other areas of the Kingdom.
They remain committed to showcasing Mexico’s culture and traditions worldwide while also creating meaningful job opportunities for Mexican artists.
