En Du Vin, the tastings provide a platform to share stories inspired by vineyards. This time, participants dive into the world of Viñas Las Perdices, a family-run winery nestled at the foot of the Andes, where each wine embodies meticulous craftsmanship and a vision in continuous evolution.
Attendees will explore some of the winery's most distinctive labels, originating in Agrelo and uniquely transformed at Finca Las Perdices. It promises to be an experience that celebrates the art of winemaking, the landscape, and creativity, designed for those who appreciate wine as a form of expression.
For those who have not yet experienced The Du Vin Experience, they are invited to join the upcoming tasting. Because wine is not just to be tasted, it is to be lived. 🍷
It is an honor to announce that the tasting will be led by the brand ambassador of Bodega Viña Las Perdices: Mauro Iriarte
Wines to taste:
Reception/toast: Charmat brut rosé sparkling wine.
1) Gewurztraminer Exploration: A rare white from Argentina, crafted at high altitudes with grapes from Valle de Uco. Aromatic, with floral notes, lychee, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is fresh, dry, and has good texture—a rarity for adventurous palates.
2) Ala Colorada Cabernet Franc: An intense expression of Cabernet Franc from Agrelo. It shows notes of roasted red pepper, dark fruits, and a herbal hint. It has a firm palate, polished tannins, and a long finish—a red with identity and definition.
3) Ala Colorada Petit Verdot: Robust and concentrated, with aromas of blackberry, ripe plum, and hints of cocoa. It has a powerful palate, with firm tannins and solid structure, perfect for those seeking bold and persistent reds.
4) Ala Colorada Tannat: An Argentine interpretation of this grape originating from southwestern France. It has an intense nose with notes of dark fruits and leather, delivering a dry palate with marked acidity and well-integrated tannins.
5) Tinamu: A red blend made from selected grapes across different vineyards. It features complex aromas combining dark fruit, spices, and mineral notes, with a rich mouthfeel and a prolonged finish. The name pays homage to the bird that inhabits the estate's vineyards.
