The Swedish government has launched a talent visa initiative designed for professionals seeking employment opportunities in Sweden.
This visa lasts for 9 months and allows individuals to relocate to Sweden without securing a job beforehand. This period can be utilized for job applications and face-to-face meetings with potential employers.
This visa is valid for a minimum of one year and permits individuals to move to Sweden once they have accepted a job offer.
A typical work permit application takes about 10 days if submitted by a certified company recognized by the Migration Agency.
The EU Blue Card serves as a work and residence permit for non-EU/EEA nationals, facilitating access for highly skilled workers to the European job market. It includes extensive socio-economic rights and a pathway to permanent residency and EU citizenship.
For those planning to work in multiple EU countries within four years, applying for a Blue Card may be advantageous. Several EU nations recognize Blue Card permits, easing mobility across borders. Some countries will also acknowledge the duration of Blue Card possession in Sweden during permanent residency assessments.
The EU Blue Card application process typically takes 2-3 weeks, but the Migration Agency may require up to 90 days for processing, especially if case officers are handling multiple applications.
Each session is private, offering one-on-one engagement with a recruiter based in Stockholm.
All interactions will remain confidential, with joining instructions provided in the workshop confirmation email.
The workshops are designed in partnership with various recruiters and Swedish firms, focusing on aiding international job seekers in navigating the Swedish job market.
