The 38th Joint Conference

The theme of the conference is:

Australia and Taiwan – Building a Secure and Sustainable Future

This conference will be hosted by the ROC-Australia Business Council under the new chairmanship of Mr. Chien-Chih Hwang, who is also the Chairman of China Steel Corporation (CSC).

Key areas of focus will include:

• Energy Security;
• Agribusiness Sustainability;
• Circular Economy;
• Critical Technologies

Delegates from Taiwan will consist of prominent figures across these sectors.

A pre-conference session, the Track II Dialogue of the Australia-Taiwan Young Business Leaders Program, will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday, 20 August 2025, at the Australian Office in Taipei.

The welcoming business dinner for conference delegates is scheduled for the same evening, bringing together key leaders from both the Taiwan and Australia business and public sectors.

A farewell dinner for attendees and distinguished dignitaries will occur on the evening of 21 August.

The opening plenary session will commence the morning of 21 August 2025, featuring notable political leaders and prominent speakers in Australia-Taiwan trade.
