AI Bootcamp is a foundational and complimentary program designed for women, aimed at enhancing women's skills, made possible through the support of the Center for Public Impact, which selected SheTech to receive funding from the Google.org AI Opportunity Fund! 🛠

Where, how, and when?

Participants can apply for the AI Bootcamp through the designated platform. Successful applicants will begin with a mandatory online module lasting approximately 8 hours, to be completed on the Coursera platform, followed by two in-person days on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at Slash+ located at Via Vincenzo Gemito 20, Naples, where they will apply what they have learned online.

Please note: both parts of the training program – online and in-person – are essential for the structure and complete understanding of the course.

Instructor

Sara Elli, Social Psychologist

Sara Elli is a social psychologist and trainer experienced in marketing and education, formerly with Microsoft and later with Quadmark for Google. She focuses on personal development, diversity, and inclusion, harnessing the power of technology.

Her passion lies in nurturing individuals, from the classrooms of the Polytechnic University of Milan, where she teaches Life Design, to schools and workplaces, building more inclusive environments.

Fun fact: she is completely obsessed with popcorn!

How to participate:

• The course is application-based and exclusive to women: submitting the form does not guarantee participation. Applicants will receive an email from community@shetechitaly.org a few days after the application deadline confirming selection status.
• Once selected, participants can start the online portion of the course on Coursera (approximately 8 hours), which must be completed by May 14 to attend the in-person days.
• Participation in the course is free, and if there are barriers to attendance, please let us know! Support through vouchers is available for participants.

Selection Criteria

The maximum number of participants is 30. Selection will be based on the application form responses, prioritizing those demonstrating a genuine interest in personal and professional growth with AI. It should be noted that this is a beginner-level AI course; it is not suitable for experienced individuals.

Priority will be given to: women residing near the city of the course, with little to no AI experience.
