“The Lost Mirror” is a musical performance suitable for all beings aged 6 to 96.
The story follows a hand-held mirror adorned with a piece of a star on its handle. It escapes from thieves and wanderers, engages in conversations with a Dressing Table and a Mermaid Professor, and finds itself in the clutches of a Diving Bird while always ending up in the most unexpected places. This magical mirror reflects joys and sorrows, despair and hope, rejection and love, helping its holders to see the fulfillment of great and impossible wishes—even flying into space.

Throughout its travels and adventures, the Mirror and the audience will discover much about themselves and the world around them—such as the existence of a chocolate zoo, a hot dog reticule, kitten gardeners, and much more. The main truth revealed is that one does not need to be magical to experience something magical!

The entire production will unfold against the backdrop of video decorations featuring illustrations by Pavel Pepperstein, the writer and artist whose work inspired this performance.

The music for “The Lost Mirror” is composed by the band SBPCH, which includes familiar material from the corresponding audio tale as well as new compositions specifically created for the performance. The songs will be performed live by the cast.
