Biography of Matthias Schenker
Matthias Schenker is a recognized expert in the field of health and accident insurance in Switzerland. As a former head of the Health Policy section and a management member at CSS, he has developed a deep understanding of health policy issues. Currently, he oversees the domain of health and accident insurance at the Swiss Insurance Association (ASA).
Holding a Master’s degree in international economics from the University of Geneva, Matthias Schenker merges a strong academic background with extensive practical experience. His expertise enables him to analyze the current and future challenges facing the Swiss healthcare system and to propose meaningful reforms for its sustainability. Renowned for his ability to foresee sector developments, he plays a key role in discussions about the future of health insurance in Switzerland.
