“The Lost Mirror” is a musical performance designed for audiences aged 6 to 96.

The story follows the adventures of a handheld mirror adorned with a star fragment on its handle. This mirror escapes from thieves and wanderers, engages in conversations with a dressing table and a mermaid professor, and finds itself captured by a diving bird, always landing in the most unexpected locations. It serves as a magical object that reflects joys and sorrows, despair and hope, rejection and love, helping its owners realize their great and impossible dreams, even those of flying into space.

Throughout its journey, the mirror and the audience will discover much about themselves and the world around them, including the existence of a chocolate zoo, a sausage-wielding ridicule, and gardening kittens. Above all, they will learn that one does not need to be magical for something magical to happen!

The entire production will take place against the backdrop of video decorations illustrated by Pavel Pepperstein, a writer and artist whose work inspired this performance.

The music for “The Lost Mirror” is composed by the band SBPCh, featuring familiar material from the eponymous audio fairytale as well as songs created specifically for this production. These will be performed live by the artists involved.
