Living with Grief - A Bereavement Information Evening (Hybrid)

This gathering is organized by the Dublin South Bereavement Network.

When: 7pm to 9pm, Tuesday, April 29th

Where: Hilton Dublin Kilmainham

Cost: Free


For those who cannot attend in person, the gathering will be streamed live via Zoom.


Who will benefit from this gathering?

  • Individuals coping with loss, regardless of whether it was due to illness or unexpected circumstances. This includes anyone grieving for a partner, parent, child, grandchild, friend, sibling, colleague, or relative, whether the loss is recent or occurred many years prior.
  • People providing support to a grieving family member or friend.
  • Professionals and community members involved in aiding those who are grieving.


Featured Speakers

Ann D’Arcy, a senior social worker and bereavement coordinator at Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services for two decades, has a wealth of experience in pediatric and adult oncology.


Annelle Rowen, also a senior social worker with 16 years at the bereavement service of Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, previously spent over ten years in pediatric oncology.


Agenda for the gathering

7:00pm - Tea and coffee will be served upon arrival

7:30pm - Informative talk

8:00pm - Q&A session featuring a panel of individuals with personal experiences of loss.


Local Support Services

Various local bereavement support service representatives will be present. Attendees can collect informational leaflets about the services and have the opportunity to speak with representatives regarding available support.
