The Easter Concert featuring the Youth Band is set to take place at Tidworth Garrison Theatre, conducted by Colonel David Barringer MVO MBE.
Colonel David Barringer, recently appointed as the Corps Colonel of The Royal Corps of Army Music, received an MBE in 2018 and has served as the Director of Music for the Welsh Guards. He became the youngest Principal Director of Music Army in 2019 when he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. Barringer has been pivotal in overseeing military music for notable ceremonies, including the Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the Coronation of King Charles III, for which he was honored with the MVO.
Joining the concert as the Guest Soloist will be trombonist Isobel Daws. Isobel has collaborated with prestigious orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Philharmonic, and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.
The NYBBGB appreciates the support received for this concert.
