Are you passionate about singing? Would you like to join fellow expats in Copenhagen in a musical endeavor?
They are invited to participate in the establishment of a new international choir, which aims to create a vibrant community where both locals and internationals can forge connections, celebrate their beliefs, and uplift one another through music. Whether one has prior singing experience or is new to it, all are welcome to join, as no auditions are necessary—just a heartfelt commitment to this engaging musical journey. Each rehearsal will feature a "hygge break" to help members bond and make new acquaintances.
Location: The practices will be held at Eliaskirken in Copenhagen.
Schedule: Every Wednesday from 7:30 PM to 9 PM, beginning on February 5, 2025.
Details: This choir will consist of a SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) arrangement, primarily performing songs with religious themes. They will have opportunities to present their music during selected Sunday services at Eliaskirken and various occasions throughout the year.
About: The choir will be integrated into Folkekirken for Internationals, an English-speaking church community, but participation is open to individuals of all beliefs and nationalities.
The choir will be led by Roberto Masetti, who brings three years of experience as a conductor at San Giovanni Battista in Padua, Italy.
For more information: To sign up or inquire further, interested individuals can reach out to Roberto at robertomasetti98@gmail.com
A fee of 200 DKK (100 DKK for students) will apply per season, but newcomers can try it out for free, so they are encouraged to attend a few sessions before making a commitment.
