Da Marco d'Oggiono a La Merica

As part of the third cycle of paths dedicated to Lecco Heritage - the museum system of the province of Lecco, and the fourth edition of the Lake Como Walking Festival, the association Sentiero dei Sogni, with the support of the Province of Lecco and the collaboration of the Municipality of Oggiono, organizes a creative walk.

From Marco d'Oggiono to La Merica

A journey through literature, art, and cinema, intertwining the locations associated with Stendhal along the shores of Lake Annone, with the widespread museum in the historical center dedicated to Marco d’Oggiono, a favored pupil of Leonardo da Vinci, along with the sites of various famous films. In the final stop of the walk, a short film titled "Te la do me la Merica," shot in Oggiono in 2015 by Mattia Conti, will be screened at the Town Hall. The film reconstructs the tragedy of six female workers from a local silk factory who died in 1898.

Led by Pietro Berra, journalist and writer.
Giovanni Corti, the Cultural Councillor of Oggiono, will participate.
Mattia Conti, writer and director, will present his film and read a story about Stendhal.
