The workshop offers participants the opportunity to learn about graffiti and street art from a professional graffiti artist. They will start with a theoretical session, covering the history of graffiti, its definitions, and important insights into materials, including how spray cans work and their various types. Participants will also learn about legal graffiti practices and the potential legal ramifications of graffiti.
In the second theory lesson, foundational typographic skills will be taught, including how to construct letters, add shadows, and create 3D effects. Participants will collaboratively sketch designs for the practical day.
At the end of the theoretical sessions, the group will take a bus trip to a graffiti supply store to select their preferred colors.
On the practical day, participants will discuss the rules of a designated graffiti space and receive hands-on demonstrations with further tips and tricks for painting on walls.
This graffiti beginner workshop is not to be seen as formal education; the primary focus is on enjoyment and responsible use of spray cans.
It is suitable for children aged 10 and above, as well as adults up to 99 years old.
