Vrijheidslunch Houten 2025

On May 5th, a group of volunteers will host a Freedom Lunch, allowing 200 people to participate for free.

It is important to note that there are limited spots available, so early registration is advised. Registration will be open until May 1, 2025, at 20:00. If the event reaches full capacity, individuals can sign up for the waiting list and will be notified when a spot becomes available.

Thanks to the support of various sponsors, the Municipality of Houten, and numerous volunteers, this Freedom Lunch can take place.

Celebrating freedom together and enjoying each other's company is of great value.

The key themes for this lunch include connection, conviviality, new acquaintances, and engaging conversations.

All residents from Houten, 't Goy, Schalkwijk, and Tull and 't Waal are welcome to join. The lunch is free and suitable for all ages and cultures.

Location

This lunch will be held near the fountain at Het Kant, by the town hall, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

Transportation

For those arriving by bike, it is recommended to park in the bicycle transfer area under the train station, around the town hall in the bike racks, or around and behind the Resurrection Church.

Finally, the organizers would like to emphasize that alcohol, drugs, and smoking are prohibited in this location.
