About the Organization: Adopt-A-Safta

This nonprofit initiative is dedicated to preserving Holocaust memory and connecting young adults with elderly individuals, focusing on survivors of the Shoah. By fostering relationships and providing companionship, the organization aims to enhance the lives of both the volunteers and their adopted grandparents.

Recognizing the urgent needs of over 50,000 Holocaust survivors facing loneliness in Israel, Adopt-A-Safta encourages community action to support and respect this vulnerable population. They emphasize the importance of immediate engagement to prevent further isolation of elderly survivors.

Get Involved: Those interested in contributing to this worthy cause can volunteer or donate through the organization's website.

Adopt-A-Safta is dedicated to the memory of Kathe Friedman (Kalya bat Feigel).
