The recent EU directives on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (CSDDD), the forced labor regulation, and the CSRD impose heightened responsibilities on companies to systematically address human rights and environmental issues. This training provides participants with essential tools and methods to implement due diligence in accordance with international guidelines and upcoming legislation. Please note that a fee applies for organizations that are not members of ETI Sweden.
Due diligence is a process designed to identify, prevent, and mitigate risks associated with human rights and environmental concerns.
In the coming years, several new laws will take effect, mandating companies to systematically address these issues, including the CSDDD, CSRD, and the forced labor regulation. Even companies not directly affected will face demands and expectations from customers and investors.
This course focuses on how to conduct due diligence with an emphasis on human rights within global supply chains. The following topics will be covered:
Participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences with others and apply their learning in case exercises.
Upon completion, participants will receive a reading list, implementation exercises, and a course certificate. Lunch and refreshments are included.

This training is primarily aimed at individuals working in sustainability and supplier-related roles within companies. It is also suited for those involved in sustainability issues in the public sector, non-profit organizations, and trade unions.
Note: Attendance at both course sessions is required for enrollment, and absence without valid reason will incur a fee of 500 SEK (even for members). The training is not open to consultancy firms.

Malin Kjellqvist: Senior advisor at ETI Sweden with extensive experience in teaching human rights and supplier responsibility. She holds a degree in political science focused on sustainable development and is a certified sustainability strategist.
Emilie Schultze: Coordinator at ETI Sweden responsible for education and events. She has worked with companies on human rights for over seven years and has been conducting training on HRDD for four years. Emilie holds a master's degree in international development from SOAS, specializing in global supply chains.
