Attention wine enthusiasts,
This April, an exciting opportunity awaits to explore the rich heritage of winemaking from Georgia, renowned as the birthplace of modern viticulture with over 500 native grape varieties.
Guests will delve into traditional practices, including the use of clay amphorae and the history of orange wines, while sampling notable indigenous grapes such as Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane, Tsitska, Saperavi, and Danakharuli. Those unfamiliar with these varieties will find this wine tasting and food pairing event particularly enlightening!
Additionally, attendees will learn about the increasing interest from winemakers outside Georgia who are beginning to cultivate these unique wines.
The tasting will feature at least eight different wines, spanning white, orange, and red varieties, concluding with a delightful off-dry Kindzmarauli crafted from Saperavi grapes. A local Georgian wine importer will guide participants through this delightful experience.
As always, the wine will be harmoniously paired with a delectable sit-down dinner prepared by Comptoir Rodin.
The tasting event is priced at 70 euros, with a limit of 30 participants who commit to attending.
Early reservations are encouraged to secure a place!
Looking forward to a wonderful gathering!
