About the book Strangers in Time

In his latest novel, set in London during 1944, Baldacci explores the themes of loss and healing through the perspectives of a grieving bookstore owner and two teenagers impacted by World War II, highlighting their journey to find solace in each other.

About the author

David Baldacci began his writing journey as a child, inspired by his mother, who gifted him a notebook for his stories. Years later, he expressed his gratitude for her encouragement, humorously noting that her intention was to keep him entertained.

Baldacci made his literary debut with the novel Absolute Power in 1996, which was later adapted into a film directed by Clint Eastwood. Over the years, he has published 50 novels for adult readers, many of which have become bestsellers and have been adapted for both film and television. His works are published in over 45 languages across more than 80 countries, with worldwide sales reaching 150 million copies. Additionally, Baldacci has authored seven books aimed at young readers.

A proud Virginian, Baldacci earned his Bachelor's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, subsequently practicing law in Washington, D.C.

Libraries participating in the festival include: Bridgeville, Georgetown, Greenwood, Laurel, Lewes, Milton, Rehoboth, Selbyville, and South Coastal.
