ESPP workshop on Nutrients in Aquaculture and Fisheries

From June 10 to 12, 2025, the city of Bergen in Norway will host a workshop focused on nutrient management in aquaculture. This initiative will be held in collaboration with partners from Norway and UNEP uPcycle. The workshop aims to address topics such as nutrient flows, environmental best practices, phosphorus recycling, and the regulatory challenges associated with these processes. It will contribute to the UNEP project uPcycle, ultimately producing a white paper on phosphorus sustainability in the aquaculture sector. Participants may also attend online sessions from locations such as Brussels and Chile, along with planned site visits to advanced aquaculture and fish sludge processing facilities.
