The New Zealand Alpine Club, alongside presenting partners, invites everyone to experience the return of the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour in Queenstown this April and May!
Since its inception in 1976, the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival has been a key player in promoting Mountain Culture. The annual World Tour, following the festival each October, spans over 40 countries across all 7 continents, making it the most extensive adventure film tour worldwide.
From around 375 submissions, the finest mountain films are selected for the World Tour. Attendees can look forward to a compilation of exceptional action, environmental, cultural, and adventure films stemming from the festival.
This edition in New Zealand showcases over two hours of engaging films from the most acclaimed mountain film festival in the world!

The screenings serve as a fundraiser for the New Zealand Alpine Club.
There will be two distinct programmes showcased, Ruapehu and Tasman, occurring over two evenings. Each screening begins at 7:00pm, with doors opening at 6:30pm.
The ticket prices are as follows;
A limited number of select double-screening tickets are available. If these tickets sell out, individual tickets for each screening will need to be purchased.
Guests can display their tickets digitally on their phones or print them out. NZAC members should remember to bring their membership cards. Double Screening Pass tickets must be presented at each screening.
