The Taste Tribe's Bring-a-Dish Eid Party

Info

Welcome to The Taste Tribe's Bring-a-Dish Eid Party! This gathering promises a delightful evening filled with tasty dishes, relaxation, and companionship at the Bink's Hall Greyfriars Charteris Centre.

Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite culinary contributions to share and commemorate Eid, where everyone can showcase their cooking talents.

After the hard work of Ramadan and Eid, it's time for women to take a break, enjoy pampering, and socialize freely without distractions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for attendees to enjoy an evening of fun, wear their finest Eid attire, and partake in lively music including the Asian Dholki and Arab Darbuka.

Participants can also indulge in various pampering options such as henna applications, nail care, head massages, hair styling, jewelry, gourmet cookies, luxury dates, and handmade chocolates from Dubai.

While mothers with babies who are still dependent on them are welcome, supervision is essential. Girls aged 10 and above may attend, provided they behave responsibly.

Photography and filming of other participants is strictly prohibited unless explicit consent is granted.

This is an excellent chance to reconnect with old friends and forge new friendships. Hope to see everyone there, Insha'Allah!

Children under 10 are not permitted, as the event is tailored to provide women with a much-needed respite. Only breastfeeding or bottle-fed infants are allowed, without young children who require constant attention.

If tickets are purchased for a mother and her teenage daughters, only one dish per family is required, ideally in larger portions.

Participants are encouraged to help clean up after the gathering to ensure the space is returned in good condition.

Attendees are allowed to remove their hijabs if desired, as privacy measures will be in place, and male security personnel will monitor access.

This is a not-for-profit event aimed at fostering connections among women, especially those who are new to the area or to Islam. Any surplus from costs will be directed to charity.

All attendees aged 10 and above must secure a ticket, which will be validated upon entry.
