With an impressive career, Dr. Mothersill is recognized for her pioneering research on the unintended effects of radiation, including the "bystander effect" and genomic instability, as well as her innovative work on environmental damage caused by radiation.
With over 350 scientific publications, her expertise serves as a global reference. Currently, she serves as the president of the International Union of Radioecology, spearheading efforts to develop new approaches for radiation protection for both humans and the environment.
This webinar, titled "Aspects related to the effects of radiation on non-human species," will cover the impacts of radiation on non-human species, a crucial topic for understanding environmental risks and preserving ecosystems.
