13:00-13:15 - Conference Kickoff
Participants will engage with fellow students and innovators focused on making an impact.
13:15-13:55 - Welcome & Opening Keynote (Jonas Søvik on Effective Altruism)
Jonas Søvik will discuss Effective Altruism and how careers can be leveraged as a powerful resource for positive societal change.
14:00-15:00 - Session 1: AI Safety
This session will focus on the critical need for ensuring AI safety and how attendees can be involved in this field through their careers, featuring insights from Karina Knudsen of Machine Learning Safety Denmark along with contributions from Esben Kran of Apart Research and Axel Højmark of Apollo Research.
15:10-15:55 - Workshop: SELF framework
Participants will gain practical experience with the SELF framework, a tool offering four straightforward steps to assess career options based on impact and personal alignment.
16:00-17:00 - Session 2: Alternative Protein
In this session, the focus will be on the potential of alternative proteins to create a more sustainable food industry, and how engineers and scientists can make contributions toward this goal. Insights will be provided by the DTU Alt Protein Project alongside discussions with alternative protein startups.
17:15-18:00 - Closing Keynote
