The evening at St Paul’s Cathedral offers visitors a chance to appreciate its stunning architecture illuminated by the night sky. Guests can delve into the Cathedral's heritage through intriguing stories shared by knowledgeable guides and partake in self-guided trails.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore various heritage skills showcased by skilled craftsmen, including stone masons and embroiderers. Additionally, there will be interactive sessions with the Collections team, allowing visitors to engage with the Cathedral's art, featuring pieces by notable artists such as Henry Moore and Bill Viola.
This event also introduces participants to Christian mindfulness and provides a glimpse into the rich tradition of choral music, enhancing their spiritual journey.
The evening will conclude with a serene sung service of Compline beneath the majestic Dome.
A selection of gifts, souvenirs, and books is available at the shop located in the Crypt, and the new Benugos café will welcome visitors throughout the evening.
Admission to the Cathedral and Crypt is free; however, the Galleries will remain closed. Contributions to support the ongoing learning program are appreciated.
