The Groove Pop-Up Choir Vienna offers an opportunity to spontaneously and flexibly participate in a unique musical experience. It welcomes everyone, whether a novice or an experienced singer, in a supportive environment where tolerance, fun, and music take center stage. Since 2018, their leader Leni has been providing open singing sessions, and in 2023, she founded the Pop-Up Choir. With her expertise, she guides participants through the musical journey. Experience two hours of fun and singing! Leave everyday life behind and engage your voice!

This format is perfect for anyone who:

• doesn’t have time for a regular choir but still wants to enjoy music,

• wants to reconnect with their own voice,

• is excited about pop-inspired, creative arrangements made specifically for the sessions, and

• simply seeks joy in singing together!

Session Outline:

• Warm-up: Relax, release, and build up – a light-hearted introduction with fun and relaxing exercises to get participants' voices and bodies into the groove.

• Song Development: Together, they will learn a complete pop song – featuring max 2-3 parts, without notes, relying solely on ear. The arrangements are specifically crafted for the Pop-Up Sessions! Singing by ear sharpens the senses and enhances the present moment, fostering connection with oneself and the group!

• Mini-Concert for Themselves: At the end, they will celebrate their music with an internal concert moment – an experience filled with joy and energy.

The Location: The Groove Pop-Up Choir meets at Lindengasse 44.

Directions: They rehearse at Lindengasse 44a - in the courtyard. This location is either a few meters before the address when coming from Westbahnhof or a few meters after it when arriving from Neubaugasse. It's an entrance with a silver door.

Start Time:
Please arrive on time starting from 18:10 - they will begin at 18:30.

Facilities:
They rehearse in a hall – unfortunately, there are stairs down to the hall. If stairs are a concern, there's an elevator in the building, but there are still six stairs from the elevator to the hall. Please send an email if assistance is needed! Toilets are available!
