Tel Aviv Police Volunteering for Olim

Description: For over a decade, TLV Internationals and the Israel National Police have provided young Olim with the chance to volunteer alongside police officers, contributing to the safety of Tel Aviv neighborhoods. Volunteers will have the opportunity to join patrol units as uniformed volunteers, assisting in maintaining public safety and responding to crime in the city.

Participants will undergo a comprehensive training program consisting of nine sessions over two months, each lasting several hours. Training includes police procedures, responsibilities, patrol operations, collaboration with specialized teams such as the bomb squad, and handling emergency situations. Additionally, those with an Israeli driver’s license will be eligible to take a test for driving police vehicles.

Date: Sunday Evening, TBA 2025, at 6:30 PM

Requirements: Proficient Hebrew skills are necessary, both written and spoken. Only Israeli citizens without a criminal record may apply, and IDF service is not a prerequisite.

Location: Tel Aviv Police Station, Address TBA, Tel Aviv

Cost: Free. Participation is contingent on final security assessments conducted by the Israel Police.
