This training day is intended for:

• Professionals (physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, speech therapists, neuropsychologists, social workers, physiotherapy technologists, psychoeducators)
• Managers in rehabilitation settings
• Doctors
• Nurse practitioners

Learning Objectives:

• Understand the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying functional neurological disorders.
• Provide rehabilitation services to clients with a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of functional neurological disorders by implementing evidence-based interventions.
• Address challenging situations associated with functional neurological disorders.

A participation certificate will be issued.

Benefits for in-person participants:

• In-person questions will be prioritized to facilitate the day's flow and logistics.
• The TNF clinic team will be available for discussions during breaks and lunch. Furthermore, speakers will be accessible for open discussion from 5 PM to 5:30 PM, in-person only.
• Healthy snacks & lunch boxes provided on-site.

Virtual spots are reserved for participants residing outside the metropolitan area.

The registration is non-transferable, and modifications are not possible due to limited capacity. Virtual spots are fixed, and the training will not be recorded. Participants will receive connection details and presentation slides before the training day, and printed documentation will not be provided on-site.

The training will take place at 900 St-Denis Street, Amphitheater of the CHUM Research Center (CRCHUM) R.05.212A. Parking is available, but public transportation is encouraged. Wi-Fi will be accessible at the venue.
