Women in Agribusiness Week 2025: A Platform for Women: Tackling Green Finance and Sustainable Solutions for Climate Adaptation and Food Security in Africa

The Women in Agribusiness Week (WAW) is set to take place from November 3-8, 2025 in Kampala, Uganda. This dynamic week will gather over 1,000 participants from various sectors to engage, exchange ideas, and commemorate the accomplishments of women spearheading Africa's agribusiness domain.

   November 3-5, 2025
   Explore cutting-edge solutions, products, and services provided by women-led agribusinesses.
2. Women in Agribusiness Conference
   November 4-5, 2025
   Participate in insightful discussions on topics such as green finance, local solutions, and climate adaptation in the agribusiness field.
3. African Women in Agribusiness Awards
   November 6, 2025
   Recognize the impactful women transforming Africa's agribusiness landscape.
4. Industrial & Farm Tour
   November 7, 2025
   Experience firsthand the innovative practices in leading agribusinesses and farms in Uganda.

The event welcomes individuals interested in agribusiness, particularly in the areas of green finance, local solutions, and sustainability. Participants may include entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, industry experts, and students.

Admission to Women in Agribusiness Week is complimentary for all. However, there may be associated costs for certain activities like the Exhibition and Farm Tour, with further details provided later.

Attendees have the flexibility to participate in specific segments, such as the Exhibition, Conference, or Tour, depending on their interests. Nonetheless, full-week participation is encouraged to maximize the experience.

The Industrial & Farm Tour will take place on November 7, 2025, with transport details and meeting locations shared with registered participants.

This week is an international gathering, inviting participants from around the globe, particularly those passionate about agribusiness, climate resilience, food security, and green finance in Africa. Last year's session was hosted in Ghana.
