The 2025 Fellows Festival is set to unite innovative thinkers and specialists from various sectors such as culture, media, the arts, public policy, civil society, and business.
Participants will dive into transformative ideas and contribute to impactful discussions, fostering new collaborations through stimulating RSA initiatives aimed at driving real change.
In a spirit of connection, events will be held both nationally and internationally, featuring live-streamed keynotes, engaging dialogues, and local content that resonates with regional audiences. This festival aims to unite attendees from around the globe, regardless of their location.
On May 17 from 18:00 to 19:30 JST, attendees can explore the theme of connection through artistic expression at the RSA Japan Fellows Festival, both online and in person.
This compelling evening will showcase three Japan-based RSA Fellows discussing how theatre, music, and film can transcend time and location, weaving new narratives and beauty through art.
Professor Brendan F.D. Barrett will present insightful documentaries produced by his students, stemming from a collaborative course between the University of Osaka and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The evening will also feature a mesmerizing live performance by Tania Coke and Kentaro Suyama from the tarinainanika theatre company, enhanced by the immersive soundscapes of Nick Luscombe from MSCTY.
Attendees will celebrate the unifying essence of art in creating connections in this unforgettable experience, with free access for all.
The full agenda will be shared in the following weeks, with updates available on the RSA website here.
