Welcome to the Iyengar Yoga Convention!

Pentecost 2025 promises to be a time of mindful movement and inner peace at the ETV Eimsbüttel gym. Participants are invited to deeply engage in practice with the guidance of Rajvi Mehta.

Dr. Rajvi H Mehta is one of the most experienced Iyengar yoga teachers and has studied directly with BKS Iyengar since 1979. She has been teaching yoga for the Light on Yoga Research Trust in Mumbai since 1987 and serves as the editor of Yoga Rahasya, a quarterly publication of the Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Institute. Rajvi has taught yoga extensively both in India and internationally, leading classes at national Iyengar yoga congresses in the UK and Europe, as well as conducting workshops in Ireland, China, the USA, Poland, Belgium, and the United Kingdom.

Participants will meet on the mat!

What to bring? 1 yoga mat, 1 belt, 2 blocks, and 3 blankets. Due to organizational reasons, equipment rental will not be available; however, there will be sales stands on-site.

What language will be taught? Rajvi teaches in English. A translation service into German will be offered on-site for a fee with the rental of headsets. More information will be sent via email shortly before the convention.

Prerequisite for participation: A minimum of 1 year of Iyengar yoga practice is required.
