PhD. Rolando Vila Romaní: A Civil Engineer specialized in Transportation Engineering, Vila holds a degree from CUJAE and has extensive experience in asphalt mixtures and flexible pavements from studies in Germany and the Czech Republic. He has contributed to significant road projects in Quito and Guayaquil and currently teaches at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, leading various research projects and publications.
Ing. Gustavo García Caputti: A prominent Ecuadorian civil engineer and current Vice President of the Guayaquil Chamber of Construction, García Caputti focuses on strategic partnerships and innovation to bolster the construction sector. His experience includes improving national transportation infrastructure, positioning him as a vital figure in the industry’s advancement in Ecuador.
PhD. Lorena García Cucalón: A Civil Engineer with a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, García Cucalón specializes in sustainable asphalt research and development. Her work emphasizes performance enhancement through the use of recycled and polymer-modified asphalts. She has contributed significantly to the field through her research published in high-impact scientific journals and currently leads technical support for advanced asphalt formulations at Kraton Polymers LLC.
