This upcoming gathering invites individuals to dive into a world of creativity and sensory experiences. It promises an enriching atmosphere for collaboration and exploration.

Location: Vysoká škola kreativní komunikace

Organized by Making Sense Lab, the gathering welcomes students, practitioners, and curious minds interested in the dynamics of learning through creative and sensory interactions with materials and environments. Participants are encouraged to partake in various workshops and enjoy an evening filled with music and refreshments.

Explorative Themes:

• What does it mean to acquire knowledge?
• How can one deepen their understanding and make sense of experiences?
• In what ways does personal practice enhance intimate knowledge through sensory engagement?
• What techniques or tools facilitate the understanding of concepts?
• How do surroundings influence knowledge acquisition?

Participants can look forward to a collaborative exploration!

Scheduled Activities Include:

Evocative Objects Workshop (Birgitta Hosea) – Participants are invited to bring a personal item to explore its sensory and narrative possibilities.
Sensory Objects: An Extension of a Flask (Tereza Havlínková) – Involvement with sculptural scents and textures that evoke memories.
Texture of Sensuality (Magdalena Malinová) – A personal exploration focused on the sensory nature of touch and taste.
Ways of Transformation – Inner and Outer Landscapes workshop (Petra Janoušková) – Using experimental printmaking for artistic and therapeutic reflection.
Musical Session (Pavel Klusák)
Urban Wilderness (Natalie Woolf) – A participatory workshop that creates small sensory interventions.
Narrative for All the Senses (Tereza Stehlíková) – A drop-in session to explore the power of multi-sensory storytelling.
Meditation (Andreas Weber) - a drop-in session
Unnecessary Words on a Canvas (Libor Korman) – Transforming abstract words into visual art.
