The CIBSE UAE Region is hosting its Annual Meeting on 28 April 2025.

Due to recent governance changes, Officers will be able to serve a term of three years without the need for reelection, with a limit of two consecutive terms. Elected members are required to seek reelection annually and may serve up to a maximum of 12 years before needing a year off the committee.

Nominations for available roles will be initiated by the current committee, and if there are multiple nominees for a position, an election will be held.

If nominations exceed available positions, a voting process will occur.

There are possibilities to share the roles of Vice Chair, Honorary Secretary, or Honorary Treasurer with another candidate, if that would facilitate the nomination process - this can be indicated on the form.

All participants at CIBSE gatherings are expected to exhibit professionalism, maintaining high ethical standards and ensuring a respectful atmosphere, free of discrimination and harassment. Responsible drinking and mindful conduct are also encouraged if alcohol is provided.
