Event: Study Abroad Discussion on January 16


On the evening of January 16, two alumni from American universities will share their experiences of studying abroad in the United States. They will discuss their growth during their studies and how these experiences have contributed to their entrepreneurial ventures after returning to their home country.

Speaker: Duan Yingtong, a graduate of Georgetown University with a Master's degree in Biotechnology. He currently serves as the general manager of Shenyang Guangda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and holds several positions in various associations, including being a supervisor for the Health Future Entrepreneurs Association.

Speaker: Xu Shuo, who completed both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics at Purdue University. He leads a sofa brand named Changbai and actively participates in revitalizing the economy of Northeast China by injecting new vitality into the region. Xu allocates 10% of his profits to support charity initiatives in rural Northeast China and is also a partner at Yi Ma Tavern, a national second-level basketball athlete, and a creator on NetEase Cloud Music.



Important Notes: Individuals aged 12 and above are welcome to participate for free, but minors must be accompanied by a parent. Anyone feeling unwell is advised not to attend. The venue will implement all possible health measures to ensure the wellbeing of participants. An advanced fresh air filtration system has been installed to prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses. Please reserve your seat in advance, providing your name and contact information, as spaces are limited. If reserving for others, all participants' information, including names, phone numbers, and email addresses, must be provided. There is no requirement to present an electronic ticket to enter the consulate on the event day. Doors open at 17:30, and entry will no longer be permitted after 18:15, so attendees are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes early, by 17:45.



Due to limited internal space, bringing backpacks, bags, or luggage into the consulate is prohibited.
