ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

This conference is jointly organized by the ITU’s Telecommunication Development Sector and the National Computer Incident Response Team of The Bahamas.

The activities will focus on various scenarios highlighting prevalent cyber threats while providing a platform for collaboration and discourse on cybersecurity issues.

OBJECTIVE

The gathering is designed to facilitate discussions on national requirements, initiatives, and strategies, along with enhancing capabilities through cyber incident simulations to safeguard vital national infrastructures and bolster regional cybersecurity frameworks.

Participants, consisting of both local and international specialists, will acquire actionable knowledge in managing incidents, understanding threat intelligence, and developing effective cybersecurity approaches. Topics will encompass legal guidelines, regulatory compliance, and necessary frameworks. The CyberDrill aims to boost national security measures and promote solidarity while enhancing cooperation across the region.
