TOIVO group: Surviving Finnish Winter

Info

TOIVO Group

The TOIVO group is designed for individuals who experience challenges during the lengthy and dark Finnish winters. It offers a unique opportunity to connect with others and explore strategies for enhancing mental wellbeing.

This peer support group meets weekly over a span of 10 weeks to:

  • Foster a sense of community through shared experiences
  • Increase awareness of how daily decisions impact mental health
  • Discover methods for improving personal wellbeing and engage in meaningful discussions
  • Participate in active and interactive group activities

About TOIVO

  2. Rest and sleep practices
  3. Physical health awareness
  4. Connection with nature for tranquility
  5. Nutrition for mental clarity
  6. Exercise and positivity
  7. Stress management and relaxation techniques
  8. Creative expression through art
  9. Emotional discussions and sharing
  10. Building a supportive network
