This foundational Espresso module introduces the practical basics of the barista profession.
Participants will discover techniques for better taste and an optimal workspace.
The training alternates between theory and hands-on practice, covering hygiene, machine cleaning, and the theories of extraction and grinder adjustments. This course unveils the secrets of preparing an espresso that highlights the quality of the beans used. Making excellent coffee will no longer be a mystery.

This workshop is open to anyone eager to learn how to craft great coffee by mastering the foundational skills of being a barista, including hygiene, extraction theory, and grinder adjustments. Chefs, Baristas, Managers, horeca project creators, and coffee enthusiasts are welcome.

Hands-on work with state-of-the-art machines for practice: Dalla Corte Studio coffee machine, Mahlkönig E65S grinder, and Puq Press, all in partnership with a coffee solutions provider.
Please have breakfast before the workshop and bring your lunch if desired.
