On January 18, 2025, healthcare and therapeutic professionals will have the opportunity to explore the applications of neurostimulation and neurofeedback.
The event will feature a presentation by Philippe Gauffriau, an experienced occupational therapist and owner of a practice specializing in neurofeedback. Attendees can also look forward to insights from Prof. Dr. Julian Koenig, head of the Biological Child and Adolescent Psychiatry research group at the University Hospital of Cologne, discussing his experiences with transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation (tVNS®).
BEE Medic represents modern ILF neurofeedback, which is successfully implemented in practices, clinics, and research worldwide. This symptom-based approach allows for personalized therapeutic interventions. In addition to providing neurofeedback products and ERP/EEG diagnostics, BEE Medic collaborates with educational institutions to offer practical neurofeedback courses for professionals interested in learning effective neurofeedback techniques.
The new tVNS® E-device from tVNS® Technologies is the first non-invasive device for vagus nerve stimulation to receive Class IIa medical device certification in mid-2023, meeting rigorous European regulatory standards. This certification underscores the device's efficacy and safety. tVNS® Technologies is based in Erlangen, at the heart of the Medical Valley in the European Metropolitan Region of Nuremberg, where a dedicated team coordinates the further development of the tVNS® E-device, which can be utilized to treat depression and anxiety disorders.
Participants will have the chance to test tVNS and neurofeedback on-site in Cologne and discover innovative tools for psycho-therapy and occupational therapy.
