Join an exciting opportunity to master the art of crafting authentic Pastéis de Nata, guided by a skilled pastry chef in a traditional Portuguese bakery.
The masterclass may be led by the acclaimed chef João Batalha, co-founder of the renowned Nat'elier, along with other talented pastry chefs like Silvia Sousa and Valeria Barros da Costa.
Participants will begin with an engaging introduction to the history of Pastel de Nata. Next, they will step into a professional kitchen where they will learn how to create the beloved Portuguese Custard Tarts.
This workshop is unique as it includes lessons on making puff pastry from scratch. Attendees will collaborate in teams, with a maximum of 12 participants, to create at least three tarts each. They will gain hands-on experience in techniques such as laminating dough and filling the custard.
☕The session concludes with a tasting of the warm tarts paired with a drink of choice, crafted by expert baristas.
👩🍳 Both adults and kids aged 8 and older are welcome, and no prior cooking experience is necessary. There are options for private sessions and baking parties.
