Hands On: Pizza alla Romana

Get ready for a fun and interactive cooking experience! In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to taste a signature dish prepared by the Scuola Chef before learning to create it themselves from scratch. Everyone gets to take home their culinary masterpiece!

Discover the art of making pizza, specifically the traditional Pizza alla Romana from Rome. This unique pizza is oval-shaped, served on a wooden paddle, with a crispy exterior and fluffy center, and the toppings are added post-baking. Attendees will craft their own pizza dough by hand.

During this workshop, participants will:

Explore the rich traditions and culture surrounding pizza.
Watch as the Scuola Chef demonstrates the technique of making Pizza alla Romana dough.
Create their own pizza from scratch.
Indulge in a menu that includes antipasto, a welcoming Prosecco, and enjoy their own Pizza Margherita alongside a wine pairing.

Please Note:

Each ticket permits entry for one guest.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Class duration may vary by approximately 10-15 minutes.
Guests consuming alcohol must present valid government-issued identification proving they are 19 or older. Non-alcoholic options are available.
Children age 8 and older, who have a passion for Italian cuisine, are welcome. Guests under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please inform in advance about any dietary restrictions at least 48 hours prior. Special needs may not be accommodated without prior notice.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Full payment is necessary at registration, and all sales are final, with no refunds for classes. Groups of 5-10 must provide 7 days' notice for a credit towards a future workshop. Smaller groups of up to 4 require 3 days' notice. Classes may be rescheduled or canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, and participants will be notified directly for refunds or credits. Last-minute cancellations due to personal issues will not receive credit, but substitute attendees are welcome. If giving this class as a gift, please share this policy with the recipient.
