Christmas Tree Recycling Collection
The collection will take place from Thursday 9th January to Sunday 12th January 2025 in the following postcodes:
PE1, PE2, PE3, PE4, PE5, PE6, PE7, PE8 and PE9
Support local care by recycling your Christmas tree
A dedicated team of volunteers will pick up real Christmas trees from the curbside, garden, or driveway and turn them into wood chippings for local parks or biofuels.
Donations collected during this initiative support essential care services.
Due to limited collection capacity, it is encouraged to arrange a tree pickup as soon as possible.
Last year's collection successfully funded 4,000 hours of care thanks to generous donations.
Every contribution helps provide vital support to families in the community.
- £12.50 could fund a home visit from a nurse.
- £25 could support one of the specialist nurses.
- £65 could fund a therapy session for a seriously ill patient.
- £100 could cover four hours of compassionate care.
IMPORTANT: Tree and Location Guidelines
All decorations and stands must be removed, and trees should not be in pots. Unfortunately, trees taller than 10ft cannot be collected. If access is challenging for larger vehicles, please provide details during registration and include your what3words location.
