Muslim Hikers invites adventurous individuals to join a remarkable trek to Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at 4167m. This two-day excursion offers stunning views, cultural experiences, and opportunities for personal connections among hikers from various backgrounds.
Participants of all abilities are welcome, regardless of their religious beliefs or hiking experience. While the trek is classified as moderate to challenging due to the high altitude, previous fitness levels are not a strict requirement; however, participants should be prepared to hike on consecutive days. Any inquiries regarding fitness and suitability for the journey are encouraged.

Itinerary Overview:
- Day 1: Arrival at Marrakesh Airport, transfer to Imlil, briefing, traditional Moroccan dinner, and overnight stay in a guest house.
- Day 2: Breakfast, hike to Sidi Chamarouch, enjoy lunch with breathtaking views, trek to accommodations at 3207m, followed by dinner. (5-7 hours of walking)
- Day 3: Summit Jebel Toubkal (4167m), take in panoramic views, descend to Sidi Chamharouch for lunch, finishing the trek back to Imlil (10-13 hours of walking)
- Day 4: Breakfast, return transfer to Marrakesh Airport or optional city exploration if extending the stay.
What Participants Will Receive:
- Accommodations, meals, and transfers as outlined in the itinerary.
- Qualified guides and support staff to ensure a safe journey.
- Mineral water and mint tea throughout the climb.
- A dedicated WhatsApp group for participants to communicate and support one another.
- Ongoing support and guidance from the Muslim Hikers team before, during, and after the journey.
What is Not Included:- Airfare, visa costs, and personal travel insurance.
- Hiking equipment (a comprehensive gear list will be provided), as well as tips and gratuities.
Available Options:
- Standard Ticket: £549 – Pay in full or £150 deposit + £399 due by the end of June.
- Charity Ticket: £250 – Pay in full or £150 deposit + £100 by the end of June + a minimum fundraising commitment of £1500 for Charity Right UK (zakat eligible). This charity supports school meals for underprivileged children worldwide, including emergency food provisions in Gaza, Palestine.
Additional Information:
- There are two consecutive treks available for Toubkal. The three-day trek is more leisurely, allowing for a two-day descent from the summit, while the two-day trek is condensed into a weekend itinerary involving summit ascent and return to Imlil on the same day.
- Participants must arrive at Marrakech Menara Airport by 2pm on Friday, 31st October. Shuttle departure is at 3pm. The return from Imlil is set for 12pm, with an expected arrival back at Marrakech Menara Airport by 2pm on Monday, 3rd November. Those wishing to extend their stay will be transported to the city.
- Photography and videography may be conducted during the trek, and content may be used for marketing by the team and affiliated partners. If anyone prefers not to be photographed, they should notify the organizers on the day of the trek.
- By purchasing a charity ticket, participants agree to the fundraising terms & conditions, which include minimum sponsorship agreements. The charity will provide support throughout the fundraising process.
- All tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- After registration, a complete gear list and detailed itinerary will be shared with participants via email.
- The minimum age is 18.
