Polysphere Aps collaborates with Openhouse and Slow Mill to present a concert titled "Poetry, Science, and Power: From Chopin to Rachmaninoff through Beethoven."

This concert includes a fee with a minimum contribution of €15, which includes membership and a complimentary drink. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to Openhouse, an association dedicated to young adults with intellectual disabilities.
About Andrea Cantù:
Aldo Ciccolini once remarked, “His musical sensitivity moves me.” Graduating with honors from the Conservatory of Como under the guidance of Mario Patuzzi, Andrea also honed his skills at prestigious institutions such as the Mozarteum in Salzburg and the A. Cortot School of Music in Paris. He has received numerous national and international piano awards. His education includes training with esteemed masters including Aldo Ciccolini and Boris Petruschansky.
In addition to his musical accomplishments, he holds a degree in legal services from the University of Pavia and is currently studying medicine in English at the International Medical University Saint Camillus in Rome. Andrea's performances have taken him to such notable venues as the Ehrbar Saal in Vienna, the Salle Cortot in Paris, and the Royal Albert Hall in London, with plans for more concerts in Italy and abroad.
He has recorded Bach's Goldberg Variations for Halidon, achieving significant acclaim. As a jury member, Andrea participated in the International Akordeon Art Plus Musical Competition in Sarajevo East, where he was also invited to give concerts and masterclasses. In 2017, he founded the charitable festival "Musicians of the World for Central Italy" and established the International Piano Festival Lago di Lecco in 2021.
As president of the Cantici di Libertà Association and artistic director of the International Larius Piano Festival, he has recently presented a research paper titled “The Musical Rhythm Perception by the Brain” at the “Medicine in Art” symposium in Zaječar, Serbia. Alongside his other activities, he composes music and poetry and conducts musicological research on composers associated with his piano collection.
Andrea has performed Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle on the original piano used by the composer in 1853. He has collaborated with renowned musicians and will publish his first poetry book, "The Eagle and the Butterfly," in 2023, with music composed by Livio Claudio Bressan for the opera "The Eagle and the Butterfly Suite."
