PARTICIPANTS
Limited to 24 participants plus the training team.
Attendees will engage deeply with the Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) model of psychotherapy. Simon d'Orsogna MA, an international partner of IFS Institute, will lead a two-day Introductory workshop followed by a two-day Deepening workshop. Previous attendees of the Introductory workshop may apply for the Deepening sessions, with priority given to current participants.
The Introductory Workshop will cover foundational aspects of IFS, with no prior knowledge necessary. It is suitable for mental health professionals like therapists, psychologists, counselors, psychiatrists, expressive arts practitioners, and social workers. The Deepening days will emphasize further exploration of IFS through exercises, demonstrations, and discussions. Attendees must have completed an Introductory IFS workshop or equivalent to join the Deepening sessions, with preference given to current enrollees.
Participants will be assisted by trained therapists who have completed Level 1 IFS training. This series includes didactic presentations, demonstrations, and experiential exercises to encourage learning-by-doing, focusing on developing familiarity with the effective techniques of IFS. The workshops promote professional growth within a supportive environment.
All participants are urged to stay updated on COVID-19 precautions to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
