Participants will embark on an exhilarating trekking journey through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains during the Toubkal April 2025 adventure. This experience promises captivating landscapes and lasting memories, inviting individuals to immerse themselves in nature and take on a rewarding challenge.
Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Arrival in Morocco
Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, trekkers will be greeted by a representative and transported to the scenic town of Imlil, at the base of Toubkal. They will be welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea and snacks while being introduced to their fellow trekkers and briefed for the upcoming trek, followed by a traditional dinner before resting for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: The Ascent Begins
The day starts early with breakfast before a short van ride to the valley at the mountain's base. After meeting the guiding team and checking in with park authorities, the group will set off on their trek. The day's journey will take them to the mystical town of Sidi Chamharouch for lunch before ascending to their lodge for the night, where they will be prepared for the summit the next day with essential winter walking techniques and snow survival skills.
Day 3: Summit Day
A very early start at 4 AM will commence the trek to Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. The hike aims to reach the summit, offering stunning views if weather conditions permit. After celebrating the achievement with photos, trekkers will descend back to the lodge for an evening of relaxation.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, participants will pack up and reflect on their extraordinary adventure as they are transferred to Marrakech airport for their departure or continue exploring Marrakech.
