The macro photography workshop at Cornwall Park offers an exciting opportunity for participants to engage with the park's fascinating wildlife, architecture, and natural beauty through their cameras.
Attendees will learn to master their camera settings, utilize macro lenses, and acquire foundational skills for capturing stunning photographs during their outdoor explorations.
This workshop caters to individuals who have a basic to advanced understanding of their cameras and are eager to delve deeper into manual functions and photo composition techniques. A macro lens is required for optimal results, and only digital cameras will be permitted, as smartphone photography is not included.
Led by Sonja Gardien, owner of Studio 541, this workshop aims to inspire both emerging and established artists while providing a supportive environment for learning and creative discussions related to photography and fine arts. For more details, visit www.studio541.co.nz.
Due to limited availability, registration is required. Participants will be asked to provide the following information:
1. Camera make and model.
2. Lenses owned and intended for use.
3. Specific interests in the park for photography.
4. Personal skill level.
The workshop will take place outdoors, so appropriate clothing and footwear are advised. Participants should also ensure they have sunscreen, a raincoat, and a water bottle. In the case of severe weather, notification of cancellation will be communicated via email on Saturday morning.
