The choir's repertoire for the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols will include both classic and contemporary pieces. This year, they will revisit two selections that have not been performed recently: David Cooper’s Dormi Jesu and Malcolm Sargent’s Hawaiian Lullaby, along with two new introductions based on Victorian poetry. These include Alan Smith’s Tryste Noel, with lyrics by Louise Guiney, and Percy Fletcher’s lively adaptation of Tennyson’s Ring out, wild bells.
